BLS Healthcare Provider CPR

Course Length: 4 1/2 hours

Instructor-led, hands-on class with an AHA BLS Instructor. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations , and provide early use of an AED. It is designed to teach healthcare professionals how to perform CPR individually or as part of a team. This course follows the American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification card, valid for two years.
